Baird B. Brown

Baird has over 41 years of experience in family wealth preservation, focusing his practice on tax, estate planning and administration, long term care and special needs planning. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1972 and received his law degree from Willamette University in 1975. He founded the law firm of Brown & Brown, P.C. and has practiced in the Western Slope since 1975.


Baird is actively involved in the legal industry: 


     - Fellow, The American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC); 

     - Member and former chairman of the Colorado Bar Association Trust and Estate Section

     - Past Member of the Board of Directors of Continuing Legal Education of Colorado, Inc. (CLE)

     - Past Board member and current member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA)


Baird is also periodically a guest speaker at various legal continuing education events and community legal education programs.
